The new shuttle schedule is much less accommodating than the one online.
The staff and the view
I specifically booked it because of the airport shuttle and we were not able to utilize the shuttle because it runs so infrequently.

Good for an overnight stay.
Nice view.only few guests. Many small regional food stalls all in walking distance. Good sleep, close to the airport. Restaurant at 8th floor really good, but a bit expensive.
Far out of town. Difficult (bus ,train)to go there. Taxi takes min.30minutes. The roof top pool was closed for renovation.

Disappointing
We stayed at this hotel about 16-17 years ago and it was excellent - thought we would try it again but was disappointed that the place looked ‘tired’ and needed updating etc

What was the highlight of Village Hotel Changi by Far East Hospitality
Good
Changi Village was chosen for personal reasons and it’s very different to the city locations but we loved the village with its fantastic coastal boardwalk and Hawker stalls. And it’s own micro-brewery!
The hotel looks a bit tired but they are obviously in the midst of refurbishment. The new restaurant at the top of the hotel (Atelier) has been very well done and the views from it are terrific. They were doing a drone survey on the outside of the building which badly needs a clean up which I’m sure is what they are planning to do. The lower floor restaurant was being refurbished and will lift the look of the lower floor when complete.
